I was just two years old when my family gave me my first computer, a Commodore 64. By the time I was a senior in high school in Cortlandt Manor, NY, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in information management and technology and I applied early decision to Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies.

During my undergraduate program, I was a teaching assistant for a visual basic course and enjoyed many of the other noteworthy classes that IST offers. I had a fantastic internship experience with Travelers Insurance during the summer before my senior year. Through this internship I was able to join committees, learn new technologies, meet upper management, get a first hand look at the corporate world, and meet other young professionals in my field.

I am currently a participant in the Information Technology Leadership Development Program at the St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc. in Hartford, CT. I am currently gaining project management and offshore outsourcing experience in our Special Services division under the title of Senior Systems Specialist.
