National Defense University Partnership

The iSchool is the original academic partner that was selected in 1998 by the National Defense University’s (NDU) Information Resources Management College (IRMC) to offer graduates of its CIO Certificate program enrollment in our M.S. in Information Management degree program with advanced standing.

This agreement has since been expanded to offer advanced standing and a GRE waiver to NDU-IRMC graduates in seven certificate areas as follows:

• 9 credits for students who complete the Information Assurance 4011 Certificate
• 12 credits for students who complete both the IA 4011 and 4012 Certificates
• 12 credits for students who complete the Enterprise Architecture Certificate
• 12 credits for students who complete the IT Project Management Certificate
• 15 credits for students who complete the Chief Information Officer Certificate
• 15 credits for students who complete the Chief Information Security Officer Certificate
• 15 credits for students who complete the Organization Transformation Certificate
