Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology
The Bachelor of Science in Information Management & Technology at the School of Information Studies focuses on the human as well as the technological elements of information systems. Students learn to see the "big picture" through coursework that covers the information industry spectrum. Students focus on the needs of information users, learn the value of information as well as technology, and develop a flexible and highly portable set of skills for the 21st century workplace.

Through coursework in the liberal arts, students in the Bachelor of Science in Information Management & Technology program gain an understanding of the historical and scientific contexts of contemporary life and explore a variety of disciplines. Many students take minors or dual majors in other Syracuse University schools or colleges, including policy studies, economics, and management. The Information Management & Technology curriculum also enables students to participate in study abroad, honors, and cooperative education programs.

Students can also opt to enroll in the program on a part-time basis. Part-time students seeking Syracuse University degrees register through University College (UC). UC specializes in the unique needs of nontraditional students.
