Regnier Institute Course Information

You can view the Regnier Institute Schedule as a
list, which can be sorted by date, course number, or instructor. The Regnier Institute schedule (see course chart below) is rich with unique courses focusing on four critical areas in today's information environment:
- digital libraries and library and information science
- information management/information systems
- telecommunications/networking/IT
- government information management
After course registration, students should obtain the syllabus several weeks prior to the start date of the course; purchase books; and complete pre-residency assignments, if required. All syllabi are stored on the Distance Education site of LMS (formerly WebCT). If you do not have access to this site, you can obtain the syllabus by e-mailing Blythe Bennett at babennet@syr.edu with the title and section number of the course. Online courses begin on the iSchool's LMS on the date listed on the schedule. To access LMS, you will need your NetID account information. This is the same ID and Password you use to access MySlice. If you do not have a current NetID or MySlice account, you must activate it by going to Information Technology Services site a few days after you have registered. You will need your SU ID number and PIN number to activate your NetID account. Once your account is activated, you will be able to access your class on LMS (formerly WebCT) approximately one week prior to your class starting.
