Students enrolled in the Regnier Summer Institute may opt to take a few courses to fast-track in a degree program, round out their studies, or pursue a special interest in more depth. They also have the chance to take one-time special course offerings, such as IST 600 Identity Management, Technology, and Policy taught by Mawaki Chango. Through the course, students conduct extensive reviews of individual identification systems and examine the ways digital technologies are changing our prevailing notions of identity. They also dentify and study the risks related to the absence of documented individual identity, as well as the dangers of identity misuses.
