Master of Science in Library and Information Science

Mission: To educate students to become leaders in the evolution of the library and information profession in the 21st century.

The Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MSLIS) degree provides a foundation in traditional librarianship as well as skill sets necessary for emerging leadership roles of librarians in information centers, the information industry, and other venues. The faculty of the School of Information Studies faculty members are nationally known leaders in such fields as digital literacy, school media libraries, digital libraries, classification, reference services, and much more. StudyResponse Center for Online Research

The StudyResponse project facilitates online research for behavioral, social, and organizational science researchers by distributing e-mail participation requests to adult research participants. The project accumulates the characteristics and outcomes across research studies in order to explore the features of studies that encourage quality responding.
