The term “digital libraries,” in its most general sense, encompasses activities having to do with storing, organizing, and finding of digital content, both within and outside libraries. Below are information sources pertaining to digital libraries as well as examples of digital libraries.

The Digital Library Federation is a consortium of libraries and related agencies that promote the use of electronic-information technologies to extend collections and services. The DLF website features current reports on digital library trends and projects as well as professional forum proceedings.
