SU BlackBoard

Learning Management System: Blackboard is the School of Information Studies' learning management system. All online courses are taught using Blackboard. Each online course has its own space in Blackboard where instructors create and post content that enables students to communicate with one another and engage in course materials.

Courses Available: Spring courses will be made available to students on January 10 by individual faculty - courses will say “Unavailable” next to them until your instructor has opened the course, at which point the name of the course will become a hyperlink.

Browser Compatibility:
We recommend using Firefox to access Blackboard as there are a number of errors that occur when using Internet Explorer. If you are using a Mac, please make sure you have installed Adobe PDF reader (click links to access free downloads). Click for more info.

The iSchool students like a party, and will organize social gatherings periodically throughout the year, such as the annual spring iSGO party, sponsored by the iSchool Graduate Student Organization.
Students are encouraged to share their traditional food, dress, music, and art during the iSchool’s annual Multicultural Festival.
