Kumud Srinivasan
Kumud Srinivasan is vice president of information technology and general manager of Platform Engineering Capability for Intel IT. In this role, she is responsible for solutions, customer support, and operations for the engineering computing environment for silicon and software design. She is responsible for providing IT support for Intel Services businesses. Ms. Srinivasan oversees Intel's internal, full-service technology solution provider and consulting practice that offers built-to-order project execution in key capability areas such as software engineering, application development, localization, project management, and general IT/OpX consulting.
Since joining Intel in 1987, Srinivasan advanced through several business and information systems positions within Intel's manufacturing organization. Most recently, she was director of automation, responsible for the development of Intel's automation capabilities across Intel's global factory network. Srinivasan served as a programmer/analyst at Chevron Corp. prior to joining Intel.
Srinivasan earned a bachelor's degree in economics at Calcutta University in 1981 and a master's degree in information and library science from Syracuse University in 1984. In addition, she has completed doctoral coursework in information science at the University of California—Berkeley. Srinivasan is a member of the Executive Advisory Board of MokaFive, an emerging leader in the growing desktop virtualization industry. She has been a board member since fall 2010.
