Joe Trino

Joe Trino currently serves as senior vice president of Corporate Development for StarCite Inc., an industry-leading, online technology platform that makes meeting and event planning and booking easier and more cost-effective for corporations and meetings suppliers worldwide. Mr. Trino has more than 25 years of software sales and operational leadership experience. Before joining StarCite, he served as executive vice president of Corporate Strategy at Ventyx (previously Indus International), a leading provider of service delivery management solutions for energy, utility, and other asset-intensive organizations.

Prior to joining Indus, Mr. Trino served as chairman and CEO of SynQuest, a company which he took public and helped to grow to a multi-million dollar industry leader in supply chain management software. Mr. Trino has also held the position of president of the manufacturing software division of Dun & Bradstreet Software and as a consultant for Warburg Pincus. He began his career at Xerox, serving in a number of different positions. He earned a BS in business administration from Syracuse University and has been with the iSchool board since November 2009.
