Gene Delsener

Gene Delsener is senior vice president of Investment Advisor Solutions, which is part of Fidelity Investment Management Technology. He is responsible for delivering and supporting portfolio management, research, and trading solutions to Fidelity’s asset management companies.

Mr. Delsener joined Fidelity in 1995 as vice president of Fixed Income Technology, where he was responsible for application development and technology support for the Fixed Income Division. He assumed his current role in October 2007 and currently has direct responsibility for 330 IT professionals.

Prior to joining Fidelity, he spent 12 years with Salomon Brothers Inc. in New York City. Mr. Delsener’s roles at Salomon Brothers included director of Research Technology and Publication Services, vice president of CMO/Database Group, and technology strategist of Bond Portfolio Analysis. He also spent two years at Salomon’s London office as vice president and department manager of the Fixed Income Technology group.

Mr. Delsener has an M.S. and a B.S. in civil engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA from Pace University. He has been a member of the iSchool Board since October 2003.
