Craig B. Cornelius
Craig B. Cornelius is managing director of Accenture’s U.S. federal civilian business. In this role he is responsible for sales and delivery of Accenture’s business with civilian organizations throughout the U.S. federal government. Prior to his current role, Mr. Cornelius was the managing director for Accenture’s business with the U.S. Postal Service, and previously served as the managing director for Accenture’s U.S. Public Service Customer Relationship Management business. He is based out of Accenture’s Washington, D.C., Metro office.
During his career with Accenture, Mr. Cornelius has worked across many industries, including postal, transportation and travel services, retail, communications, electronics and high tech, and aerospace and defense. Since 2001, Mr. Cornelius has been focused on serving public service organizations, primarily in the U.S. federal government.
Mr. Cornelius graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in aerospace engineering. He is married to Rebecca C. Cornelius, who is a graduate of Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. They live with their three children in Potomac, Md. He joined the iSchool Board in February 2000 and currently serves as its chair. He has also served on the board of the Foundation for Future Technology Leaders, an organization that provides scholarships to students seeking degrees in various fields of information technology.
